This machine serves for the shaft grooving. By means of this grooving we can the
make driving transition of the pressed conection betwen the shaft and an
antipience. e.g. pack of rotor plates.
The machine is used especially in automatic
operations. Individual shaft pieces are taken from a container and after their
machining they are put into another container with finished products. Maximum
number of 30 shaft types can be stored in the memory of machine control
system. New shaft types can be continuosly added.
The frame of this equipment
is made of aluminium unitbuilt section and it holds the grooving unit together
with both containers. As a result of the groovin g procedure consisting in the
indentation of rolling bars three lines at of 120° are made on
the shaft surface. The edges of these lines are formed with
elevated layers of material. These grooving procedures can be performed on the
steeped shafts as well.
